The Local Government Unit of Tigbauan, through its Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO) Tigbauan, headed by Atty. Ma. Gerrylin S. Camposagrado bagged the EXCELLENT award during the Gawad Probinsiya sa Palibot Awarding Ceremony of the Search for Outstanding Local Government Unit on Ecological and Sustainable Solid Waste Management System (E+3S) Year 8 on November 25, 2024, in Iloilo City. The awarding ceremony was in line with the third Provincial Environmental Awareness Month. The celebration aimed to promote sustainability, conserve ecological balance, and protect the environment by assessing LGUs' best practices, innovations, and PPAs anchored to solid waste management and greening programs.
