The Local Government Unit of Tigbauan, headed by Atty. Virgilio T. Teruel, Municipal Mayor, and Hon. Lugen T. Ortilano, Municipal Vice Mayor, celebrated National Heroes Day through a Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Tigbauan Municipal Grounds last August 28, 2023. National Heroes Day, celebrated every last Monday of August, is a special day to remember all the heroes who fought for our freedom. It is celebrated to honor and remember the known and unknown heroes of the revolution who helped establish the foundation of our country's independence. Municipal Elected Officials, Department Heads, Peacekeeping Forces, DepEd personnel, and a number of LGU employees attended the celebration.
