The Department of Education (DepEd) Tigbauan, in collaboration with LGU Tigbauan, officially opened the Municipal Meet 2024 at the Tigbauan National High School on November 14, 2024. Four units, comprising the elementary and secondary levels of public and private high schools in the municipality, participated in the sports meet. This year's sporting events adhere to the theme, "Atletang Palaban, Nangingibabaw sa Diwa ng Makabansang Paligsahan," an image of good sportsmanship that aims to propel young athletes to success. The series of games will conclude on November 15, 2024. The winners will represent the municipality of Tigbauan in the First Congressional District Sports Association (FCDSA) Meet 2024, which will be held in Oton.
