"Do not only repay kindness, pass it on." The AAMBIS OWA Partylist spearheaded countless acts of kindness on Oca Garin Day on January 22, 2024, at Tigbauan, Iloilo. The activities were led by Atty. Lex Colada, AAMBIS OWA Representative, Hon. Sharon Garin, Undersecretary of the Department of Energy, Hon. Janette Garin, First District Representative, Hon. Christine A. Garin, Vice Governor of the Province of Iloilo, Hon. Jo Ann B. Germinanda, Board Member of the First District of Iloilo, Hon. Christy Love Custodio, SB Member of Guimbal, in coordination with Atty. Virgilio T. Teruel, Municipal Mayor of Tigbauan, and Hon. Lugen T. Ortilano, Vice Mayor of Tigbauan. The Kindness Day was celebrated through the distribution of food packs to identified indigent tricycle drivers and e-bike drivers in the municipality, and the turnover of books to the Tigbauan Municipal Library. These acts of kindness form a huge part of the celebration of "Kindness Day," which honors Oca Garin's legacy as the beloved father of the First District of Iloilo.
