The Municipal Peace and Order Council (MPOC) and the Municipal Anti-Drug Abuse Council (MADAC) of the Local Government Unit of Tigbauan conducted the Third Quarter MPOC and MADAC Joint Meeting at the Conference Hall of the Tigbauan Municipal Hall earlier today, September 5. The MPOC MADAC meeting aims to provide relevant updates and discussions on peace and order in the municipality. It also serves as a venue to address current issues and plan strategies to maintain public safety in the municipality. The meeting was presided by Atty. Virgilio T. Teruel, Municipal Mayor, and attended by representatives from the Philippine National Police (PNP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Iloilo Provincial Mobile First Command (IPMFC), Municipal Environment and Natural Resources Office (MENRO), Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Education (DepEd), Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO), Municipal Planning and Development Office (MPDO), Liga ng mga Barangay, Municipal Health Office (MHO), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs).
