The Local Government Unit of Tigbauan conducted the Unveiling of Perspective and Groundbreaking Ceremony of the New Municipal Building on January 26, 2024, at Brgy. 4 Poblacion, Tigbauan, Iloilo. The event was led by Atty. Virgilio T. Teruel, Municipal Mayor, Hon. Lugen T. Ortilano, Municipal Vice Mayor, Atty. Suzette T. Alquisada, Municipal Administrator, and was attended by Hon. Jo Ann B. Germinanda, Board Member, First District of Iloilo Province, Dr. Janette L. Garin, Congresswoman, First District of Iloilo Province, Engr. Richard Garin Jr., Municipal Mayor of Miagao, SB Members and Department Heads of LGU Tigbauan, DepEd Elementary and Secondary Heads, Punong Barangays of the 52 barangays in the municipality, and the Barangay Officials of Brgy. 4 Poblacion. The new Municipal Hall will cater to the increasing need for space among the different offices and their respective needs. This structure will further improve LGU operations and provide a larger venue for more effective public service.
